Responsibilities : Health Service Commission
- Ensure Manpower Planning development and training of hospital employees.
- To recruit and promote Public hospital employees.
- Maintain and comprehensive database of all grades of Public hospital employees.
- Maintain up to date personnel records of all public hospital employees.
- Implement establishment policies in respect of Public hospital employees.
- Monitor activities of public hospital on appointment, discipline and promotion.
- Co-ordinate inter-state inter- service and inter- hospital transfer of public hospital employees.
- Handle pension matters for all hospital employees.
- Oversee public hospital joint staff welfare matters including Housing, Transport amongst others.
- Compile for gazette publication of establishment matter, Staff movement including new appointment, promotion, retirement and dismissals.
