Responsibilities : Health Service Commission


  • Ensure Manpower Planning development and training of hospital employees.
  • To recruit and promote Public hospital employees.
  • Maintain and comprehensive database of all grades of Public hospital employees.
  • Maintain up to date personnel records of all public hospital employees.
  • Implement establishment policies in respect of Public hospital employees.
  • Monitor activities of public hospital on appointment, discipline and promotion.
  • Co-ordinate inter-state inter- service and inter- hospital transfer of public hospital employees.
  • Handle pension matters for all hospital employees.
  • Oversee public hospital joint staff welfare matters including Housing, Transport amongst others.
  • Compile for gazette publication of establishment matter, Staff movement including new appointment, promotion, retirement and dismissals.
